With a love of vintage and obvious amazing taste in fashion, this Parson’s grad, Nicolas Delgado, is sitting on a pretty little vintage gold mine! Opening The Fine Art of Design last July in his home town of Palm Desert, Nicolas purchases and consigns both vintage and high end designer labels. The Fine Art of Design also hosts a great little book shop (the store actually started with books and then added in the fashion) which has amazing vintage paperbacks, coffee table books, and even old albums. I met both Nicolas and Katherine Martinez (book shopkeeper) while I was there and they truly couldn’t have been more adorable. It made me fall in love with this store even more.

Very similar to when I first met my boyfriend 4 years ago, I took an instant liking to The Fine Art of Design and couldn’t stop talking about it the rest of the weekend. Needless to say, I am anxiously awaiting my second date!
