…last Friday I spent my first day shopping for “THE” dress and as I promised I would not turn TheBoutique411 into a wedding blog, I feel I HAVE to share one of the most exciting days so far in planning the wedding! With appointments at my two favorite boutiques, my parents and my sister (the maid of honor) joined me for an amazing day I will always remember…
We started off our morning with an appointment at Monique Lhuillier and I can’t even explain how excited I was. I watched as this boutique opened back in 2007 and always dreamed of trying on dresses here. With a color palette of grey and taupe along with dark wood accents, this is one of the most luxurious boutiques I have ever been in – it is absolutely gorgeous!
I highly recommend any bride-to-be making an appointment here! The gowns (I am sure I don’t even have to say it) are beyond amazing and the detailing is like nothing I have ever seen. With dresses in every elegant and beautiful shape imaginable, this is the ultimate in wedding dress shopping. I worked with Christine who I highly, highly (I purposely wrote it twice!) recommend. After picking out my favorites, she escorted me into the most beautiful dressing room where the gowns were almost glowing as they waited for me to try them on. She completed the look with a pair of Jimmy Choo sparklers that made me eekkkk with excitement…
In addition to bridal, the Monique Lhuillier boutique also offers ready-to-wear, a tabletop collection, and even stationary. The online boutique also has a collection of bridesmaid dresses along with a better bridge bridal collection, BLISS by Monique Lhuillier. It is a beautiful world that I suggest every bride-to-be experience!
Check back tomorrow and see who we spent our afternoon with. It was my second swoon of the day…
