…and can we say STUNNER?!?
To kick off Oscar weekend, I went with the cutie boyfriend to the Vanity Fair Pre-Oscar party hosted by Eva Longoria at her Hollywood restaurant Beso. Good food, good music, and good friends…well if your Eva Longoria, that means gorgeous friends like Victoria Beckham and Kate Beckinsale.
These Beso beauties were quite the gorgeous trifecta and I was completely obsessed with their fashion choices for the evening. I recognized the Victoria Beckham dress (was taupe and brown on the runway) and I’m still not sure of the designer for Kate’s hot pink number (will try and find out for you), but it was Eva’s Cushnie et Ochs dress that blew me away. Yes it was a plunging neckline, which looked phenomenal might I add, but it was the detailed construction that I could not get over!
Cushnie et Ochs is the brainchild of designers Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs. While attending Parsons, both women worked for notable names like Donna Karen, Oscar De La Renta, Proenza Schouler, Marc Jacobs, and Chado Ralph Rucci. In 2009, their talents evolved into Cushnie et Ochs where it is clear the focus is on draping, tailoring, and precise detail. Needless to say, I am obsessed with this collection.
Most importantly, the Vanity Fair event was supporting Eva’s newly launched “Eva Longoria Foundation” which she created to help Latina women build better futures. All I have to say about this Latina beauty, after two seconds with her, you can easily see she is not only gorgeous on the outside, but absolutely beautiful on the inside as well.
