…these shoes were definitely NOT made for walking, but I don’t care! I love them, I need them, I want them. As I have admitted in previous posts, I have quite the shoe problem and, thank you to Walter Steiger and his NYC boutique, he is not helping matters!

Walk into Walter Steiger’s amazing midtown east boutique and you will find any shoe lovers dream – an array of beautifully crafted footwear made with an assortment of ultra lux materials. As a newcomer to my world of shoes, I was shocked to find out that Walter Steiger had set up shop on Park Ave nearly thirty years ago – originally opening in 1982! How is it possible I have been so in the dark? Especailly since I used to live in New York?!

The store aesthetics are very classic and a bit conservative, but don’t let that fool you. This beautiful shoe boutique is packed with a gorgeous and very fashion forward punch.
