…is it just me or are there a lot of boutiques popping up lately?!? From New York to LA, it seems like a lot of our fave designers are opening boutiques or moving locations. Let’s start with NY…
Stella McCartney has moved after 9 years in the meatpacking to a new spot in Soho…and what a beautiful store it is! With two levels (5,200 square feet to be exact), this new location on Greene street has been open just under three months. As you enter the narrow yet long store, it is easy to identify the Stella signature details (the earthy colors and tranquil vibe). The accessories line the edge of the store while her collection takes center stage, right down the middle. Be sure to go downstairs (I almost missed it) to find a mix of lingerie, children’s, and Stella for Adidas.

YSL is coming soon…oooohhh and we can’t wait! Posted up on Mercer (between Houston and Prince), the 2,500 square foot boutique will house all the Chyc handbags and Tribute sandals you can imagine. It is set to open early 2012 (which is now), but unfortunately, they are still under construction and all I could get for you were pics of the store front teaser. More to come once it opens…

And last, but certainly not least, is a new boutique that we are literally counting down the days till it opens – Five Story on the Upper East Side. I finished up with a meeting early and literally had the car pull up front so I could take some pics. Again, just a teaser as there is not much to see – YET! The grand opening is April 19th and I’ll be back in NYC at the end of the month, so more to come fashion friends…
