…and I mean for LA, it is really cold outside! The weather this week has dropped way below normal and for us thin blooded Southern Californians, anything below 65 degrees has us trembling! So to stay warm, I have been drinking a ton of tea (I gave up coffee two years ago) and it is this special tea I found in NYC that I am currently obsessed with – which means, of course I have to share with you!
Rewind to a couple weeks ago when I was in New York and I ate at this cute little restaurant called Bread & Tulips. After my amazing dinner, I had a dessert and a cup of tea – Harney and Son’s Hot Cinnamon and Spice tea to be exact. I was so head over heels for this tea, I asked my waiter about it and it just happened to be from a store down in Soho – and lucky me, I was going to be in Soho shopping that very next day!
Harney and Sons is a New York based tea company that started in 1983. It is a family owned business and I can’t tell you how much I love it. Their teas are beyond amazing and when I went into the store, they had a million teas to choose from and a staff that was more than willing to make sure you found a tea that was right for your palette.
So whether you are trying to warm up on a cold day, having a holiday dinner party for friends, or need some little Christmas hostess gifts, Harney & Sons has the greatest assortment of teas anyone could ask for. And whatever you buy – make sure to get the Hot Cinnamon and Spice for yourself – I promise you will love it.
