…hip’tique boutique – my new Westside obsession! I have to admit, before last week, I had not been shopping on Main Street in Santa Monica for some time. But my close friends, Lucy and Mary Firestone (they have an amazing lifestyle blog you MUST check out – www.firestonesisters.com) told me about this little gem and I had to stop in and check it out for myself.
hip’tique is one of the newest boutiques to call Santa Monica home and it has quickly become the hot spot to shop. Once you stop in, you will see why. The aesthetics of the boutique are beautiful and the merchandising is beyond. Creating little sitting areas throughout the store, hip’tique has a very welcoming feel and, trust me, you’re going to want to stay a while!

First off, let’s talk collections…Christine Berardi is the shop owner and she has quite the eye when it comes to filling her store with great contemporary labels. Waverly Grey, scotch & soda, Halston Heritage, Alexis Hudson, DVF, Habitual, LnA, Black Halo – it is pretty hard NOT to find something amazing in here.

And I can’t forget to mention the amazing candles, lotions, soaps, house wares…perfect for gifts or (as I did) treat yourself! I bought the Red Flower candle in Spanish gardenia – loving it!

The other thing I have to gush about is meeting Christine. It is one thing to shop a store, but when you meet amazing people (or the owner!) in the store, it can really make for a perfect shopping experience. Christine is so incredibly sweet and beyond helpful – I felt like I had known her for years. I also met Mia, who helps with the boutique’s social media – also a doll.
Even though I live in weho, I would make the trip over to hip’tique any day – amazing new friends and a guarantee I will not leave empty handed!
