A few weeks ago, I wrote about Beckley boutique and how it is an amazing, must stop shop. (If you missed, click here asap!) It’s a contemporary playground for any girl who loves fashion, shoes, jewelry, accessories…you get my drift. Well last night, we celebrated the launch of the Spring 2012 collection of Beckley By Melissa, created and designed by Beckley owner, Melissa Richardson.

After a very successful Fall/Winter 2011, I was excited to see what Melissa had instore for us – and as expected, she did not disappoint! The collection is feminine yet modern with the perfect balance of flowing silhouettes and structured pieces. The blending of classic colors with textured fabrics and white leather (love!) is beyond – once again I state, a fashion girls playground!

And as much obvious detail went into the collection, the same attention to detail went into the party with a Braid Boutique by famed salon Warren-Tricomi and Eyebrow Shaping with the one and only brow master, Kristie Streicher.

I will admit, my mom once told me that as a kid on the playground, I didn’t like to play in the sandbox because I might get my clothes dirty…that’s all starting to make a lot of sense right about now.
