We are huge fans of the brand and obsessed with the West Hollywood boutique that opened last October, so this is beyond exciting!

 

 

Racked LA broke the news and we were dying to post the details for you today!! For their second LA shop, we know it is scheduled to open in October and will be located by the Whole Foods on San Vicente Blvd. It will join other Brentwood retailers including Madison and Ron Herman, along with Scoop and Intermix which aren’t too far down the street at the Brentwood Country Mart.

 

We will keep you posted as we get more details!

Last weekend we took a little tour (aka shopped the goods) in the new 2,700 sq foot location and it was everything we expected and MORE. Located near the Brentwood Country Mart, this store boast massive windows to give you the perfect view of all the designers that await your arrival…

With fresh cut flowers and spring colors bursting, this store was all the buzz on Saturday. Walking into the open, airy layout, the store is split with womens on the left and mens to your right. I can’t lie, my first stop was the shoe wall which was full of temptation - stilettos from Camilla Skovgaard, booties from Jerome C. Rousseau, and summer wedges from Stuart Weitzman.! The denim table was also an attention grabber with bright colors and florals in skinnies to cutoffs from collections like Current/Elliot, AG, Rag&Bone, and more! The handbags were amazing, the bikinis, jewelry, sunglasses – it was hard to walk out of there and NOT find something I needed, wanted, and loved!

And don’t forget about the boys! I love that the other side of the store is mens focused, so no more waiting on us! The assortment is perfectly edited with a clean and crisp assortment of John Varvatos and Hartford button downs, J Brand and AG denim, Shipley & Halmos shoes – and so much more. Dudes – here is an easy, one stop shop for you!

Walk into the new Jenni Kayne boutique (the second to open after her first in Weho five years ago) and you instantly pick up on the vibe – effortless chic. Just like her collection, the store is beautiful with amazing attention to detail. From the beamed ceilings, custom displays, and unique light fixtures, this space plays perfectly into her Spring story of pinks, navy, black and creams…

Along side her collection of cap sleeve dresses, beautiful blazers (my fave) and cigarette pants, this Jenni Kayne store plays hosts to some other designers in the way of jewelry (found amazing pyramid stud earrings), handbags (hello Proenza!) and even home decor (cotton napkins begging to be a part of my next dinner party). I love the integration of these pieces and how they work so perfectly with her own accessories – I am referring to the one and only D’Orsay flats.

With the opening of her Brentwood store, Jenni Kayne has also recently launched her new online boutique! So for those days when you just can’t do the drive (or if the Country Mart is a flight away), she brings the shop to you. Gotta love her…

So first up on the Spring shopping list, the most important staple in my closet, DENIM! And for me, there is only one place I shop for jeans – Paige Denim.

With a new store in Brentwood, I knew this would be the perfect shopping spot for my Sunday afternoon. (I also knew there was no way I would be able to walk out empty handed!) The store has a crisp, fresh feel to it with white walls and walnut wood floors. It is the perfect canvas to highlight denim in an array of colors!

In addition to traditional denim washes, I love Paige because they are always one step ahead offering fun colors, treatments, and unique detailing. This spring they have launched three different collections that I am beyond obsessed with…pastels, florals, and tie dye! The pastels are in so many beautiful colors, it is truly hard to pick a favorite between hues like Winkle, Mandarin, Femme, Mint, and Daiquiri Ice. I also love the bright denim in Pixie, Teal, and Paige Blue (gorg!).

The floral collection is also a highlight with two washes both inspired by vintage botanical patterns. The Chello is an antique white with yellow undertones and the other wash is a dark grey with a burgundy floral print.

And then there is the Toulouse collection that is a bold and daring tie dye – and I am absolutely loving the Tumble wash! It is just the right amount of bright to make a Spring statement.
