holiday spectacular: bergdorf unveils the holiday windows with an over the top event…

…as many of you know, I am obsessed with the Bergdorf windows! It is no secret, every time I come to NYC, I make a special trip to see what beyond imaginable creations they have put on display and then I stand there for hours taking in every detail. As I am working in the city this week, I was lucky enough to experience the unveiling of the infamous holiday windows last night, which is like Christmas in itself!

Taking the unveiling to an entirely different level this year, Bergdorf Goodman hosted a party so spectacular it included Linda Fargo, Bravo’s Andy Cohen, and a team of holiday dancers that scaled their way down the side of the department store. Hundreds of people turned out and filled the sidewalks to see the spectacular show regardless of the beyond freezing weather! Thankfully there was Bergdorf hot coco to the rescue!

After the show Bergdorf held a private shopping event where 10% of the proceeds went to the amazing charity, New Yorkers For Children. Each floor hosted different mini events including book signings, trunk shows, and designer appearances. I had a chance to meet jewelry designer Eddie Borgo (love him) along with the stunning duo behind Cushnie et Ochs, Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs. And now, with no further ado, feast your eyes on the 2013 Bergdorf holiday windows….

…I just got back from NYC and you know, no trip is complete without a trip to Bergdorf! Of course, I had to grab a couple pics of the windows so you could see their latest creations! These windows celebrate the new Dior boutique located on the second floor and the debut of the Spring Collection from Artistic Director, Raf Simons…

Sorry for the glare! I usually shoot these at night so you can see everything clearly, but this trip was jam packed and I had to grab the shots during the day. Thanks for understanding and have a great weekend beauties!!

…I was in New York last week and as you know, it is an absolute MUST that we always stop by Bergdorf Goodman to check out the windows – well and of course the shoe department! This trip was no different except for the fact that it was 11 degrees and I could barely get my frozen fingers out of my gloves to snap a shot. But with a little will power and plenty of fashion to warm the blood, I was able to get some pics so you could see…

I have been obsessed with this store since I first heard the news back in March and it only heightened when the renovations began. Now, the scaffolding has come down and we get the first look at LA’s most anticipated boutique…

…wow – NY fashion week really took me down! With everything going on, we got a little behind, but we are back on track and have some great things for you this week! First up, a trip to New York is never complete without a stop at Bergdorf to check out the windows! And as they are celebrating their 111th birthday, they brought out all the stops to make sure the windows were nothing short of absolutely amazing…

…I was in New York last week for an event and of course had to go check out the BG windows as it is one of my favorite things to do when I am in town (uhh along with shopping the store of course)! They never disappoint as the creativity in each story displayed is mesmerizing. Unfortunately, some of the 5th Ave windows were under construction as they were creating displays inspired by the upcoming Met Gala (which btw, you can catch all the amazing red carpet fashion tonight at vogue.com). But lucky for me, the 58th street windows were in full effect and surprised me with a contemporary, yet domestic theme! I mean, I would be more inclined to want to vacuum if I was wearing Rachel Zoe…

kelly wearstler creates spring windows for flagship…

…on Friday afternoon, as I was wrapping things up and getting ready for a little weekend get away, I saw a very exciting post on facebook – inspiration boards from Kelly Wearstler for her Spring windows in the Melrose flagship!

I am a huge fan of Kelly Wearstler, not only for her incredible interior design talents, but her rtw collection is right up my alley – the stamp print pant and dip dye skirt are two personal faves. If you have ever been in her store in West Hollywood, then you have seen that her use of texture is beyond inspiring, (if you haven’t, read all about it here!) and let me tell you, the windows have one full dose of just that!

Knowing she was redoing her windows this weekend, as we made our way back from Palm Desert last night, I had the bf swing by the store so I could take some pics and you could be one of the first to see her latest window creations…
